German media mogul who's friends with Elon Musk is sacking 20% of the newsroom at his leading tabloid and replacing workers with A.I.

The German tabloid is among the most widely-sold newspapers in Europe. In a memo, Axel Springer said several roles will “no longer exist as they do today.”
